OUR SERVICES

Social & Community Participation
These supports enable a participant to engage in community, social or recreational activities. These activities may be provided in a centre or in community settings at standard or higher intensity rates.
SUPPORTED
INDEPENDENT LIVING
This relates to tasks of daily life in a shared living environment, which is either temporary or ongoing, with a focus on developing the skills of each participant to live as autonomously as possible. Round-the-clock support is provided by qualified and friendly support workers.

TRANSPORT
SUPPORT
Transport enables participants to access disability supports outside their home, and to pay for transport that helps them achieve the goals in their plan.
CAPACITY BUILDING SUPPORTS
A support that enables a participant to build their independence and skills. Participant budgets are allocated at a support category level (see next section) and must be used to achieve the goals set out in the participant’s plan.

CORE
SUPPORT
Supports that enable participants to complete activities of daily living. Participant budgets often have a lot of flexibility to choose specific supports with their core support budgets, but cannot reallocate this funding for other support purposes (i.e. capital or capacity building supports).
ASSISTANCE WITH DAILY LIVING
This support relates to assisting with and/or supervising personal tasks of daily life to enable a participant to live as autonomously as possible. These supports are provided individually to participants and can be provided in a range of environments, including the participant’s own home.
